Northern Railway invites application from eligible candidates for the post of General Duty Doctors & Specialist Doctors as full time Contract Medical Practitioners (CMPs) on contract basis for a duration of one year.

5. Eye: 01 NRCH, New Delhi
6. Radiology: 01 NRCH, New Delhi
7. Obstand Gynae: 01 NRCH, New Delhi
8. Orthopedic: 01 NRCH, New Delhi
Age Limit as on 01.01.2015: Maximum 53 years.
- For General Duty Doctors: MBBS degree (with completion of internship) from any University/Institution recognized by Indian medical Council.
- For Specialist Doctors: MBBS degree and Post Graduate Medical Degree/Diploma in subject concerned from any University/Institution recognized by Indian medical Council.
Remuneration: Rs. 75,000/- for General Duty Doctor and Rs. 95,000/- for Specialist Doctors
Selection Process: Through walk-in-interview

Northern Railway started its operation in the year 1952 and is one prominent zone among the 17 zones of Indian Railways. The headquarter of Norther Railways is in New Delhi and consists of 5 Divisions-Ambala, Delhi, Ferozpur, Lucknow and Moradabad. The General Manager heads the Northern Railways and the divisions under are headed by Divisional Railway managers who will be based at the divisional headquarters and are located at Ambala in Haryana, Delhi, Firozpur in Punjab, Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh and Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.Shri A.K.Puthia is the General Manager and Shri S.K. Pathak is the Additional General Manager of Northern Railways.
