- Assistant Professor : Passed Post Graduation with NET/SLET/SET qualification with 55% minimum marks
- Professor : Rs.37,400/- to Rs.67,000/- + Grade Pay : Rs.10,000/-
- Associate Professor : Rs.37,400/- to Rs.67,000/- + Grade Pay : Rs.9,000/-
- Assistant Professor : Rs.15,600/- to Rs.39,100/- + Grade Pay : Rs. 6,000/-
Selection Process : Through Written test/ Interview.

About Jawaharlal Nehru University
Jawaharlal Nehru University is an educational Institution in Delhi. It is established in the year 1969 and this public central university was awarded the highest grade in the year 2012 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It is considered as one of the top university amongst all the universities in India and ranked second in our country.
The basic academics units of the Universities are not single disciplines but it has multi-disciplinary school of studies. The university has been visualised as a community of scholars from disciplines which are linked with each in-terms of their subject matter and methodology. Thecampus of JNU is very famous since all the facilities are provided inside the campus even in-terms of safety. Currently the University has approximately 7300 students, they all come from different parts of the country and abroad and who forms a society. There are more than 500 faculty members including the administrative staffs that stay on campus along with the students which help them to interact and mingle with each other regardless of social or professional status. Annual admission tests are held at 37 centres spread across the country, and special care is taken for the students from the underprivileged castes by reserving approx. 22.5 per cent of seats for them. NRI students also get admitted as 10 present reservations are for them.Hostels for students and blocks of faculty residences are combined with one another.
Private communication between students and lecturers and among college students on their own make a very important medium of transferring knowledge with each other. Student’s Union elections are carried out wholly by college students.
