Name of the Post: Lower Division Assistant

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2019): 18 to 40 years

Educational Qualification: Candidates Must have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination (12th standard)
from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination or its Equivalent examination from a recognized Council/ Board.

Pay Scale: Rs.5400 – 25200/- + GP Rs.2600/-

Selection Process : Through  Written Test.

  • For GEN/OBC: 500/-
  • For SC/ST of West Bengal candidates: 250/-

About High Court of Calcutta

High Court of Calcutta was started on 1st July 1862. It is one of the oldest High Courts in India. It was established as the High Court of jurisdiction at Fort Williams under the High Court’s Act 1861.The sanctioned judge strength of the High Court of Calcutta is 63. The High Court has the authority towards the states of West Bengal and the union territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.It was anticipated by the Supreme Court of Judicature at Fort William.
