Educational Qualification: Passed in 10th/Matriculation form recognized Board.
Pay Scale: Rs. 21700 – 69100/- Level -3
Selection Process: Through Written Test & Physical Test.

About Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
As of 2010, the Central Reserve Police Force is the biggest paramilitary association of the country and is aggressively looking after the interior safety of every part of the Country and are even functioning overse as as part of United Nations diplomacy missions. It is performing a diversity of responsibilities oscillating from VIP safety to election responsibilities, from safeguarding of vital networks to the counter-naxal processes.
The CRPF is commanded by a Director General who is an Indian Police Service field marshal and is distributed into 10directorial sectors, each controlled by an Inspector General. Each Subdivision consists of one or more governmental and/or Operating Ranges, supervised by an officer of the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police. Now, Group Centers are also controlled by DIGs. The Financial Advisor of the CRPF has stayed an Indian Revenue Service soldier of rank of Joint Secretary & also has Dy Advisors from Indian Audit and Accounts Facility, Indian Telecom.
There are 232 CRPF battalions of approx 1200 constables each. Each battalion is commanded by an officer nominated as Commandant, and comprises of 7 CRPF companies, each comprising 135 Men. Each Co. is headed by an Assistant Commandant.
The Home Ministry is scheduling to rise the strength of the force by addition 35 more battalions in the approaching years. Staff are employed by the UPSC and also thru delegation from IPS officers.
The Assistant Commandants Group ‘A’ gazette ground marshals, directly hired upon clearing an exam led by the UPSC which is held annually.
