Age Limit (As on 31.07.2018):
- Nursing Superintendent: 20 to 40 years
- Pharmacist: 20 to 35 years
- Nursing Superintendent: 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery form a school of Nursing OR B.Sc (Nursing).
- Pharmacist: 12th class pass and Diploma in Pharmacy or B.Pharma.
- Nursing Superintendent: 55361/- (Per Month)
- Pharmacist: 39606/- (Per Month)
Selection Process: Through interview.

How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates may attend for walk in interview along with application, two recent passport size photographs, original certificates in academic, professional qualification certificates, certificate indicating the date of birth at given venue.

Chittaranjan Locomotive Works was founded in the year 1950 and its headquarters is at Chittaranjan in Asansol. Chittaranjan Locomotive Works is one of the largest Electric locomotive producer in the world and basically owned by state government. Chittaranjan Locomotive Works produces AC & DC Traction motors, Switch gears/Control gears, Bogies cast & fabricated, Wheel sets & Steel casting etc. The name has come in memory of Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, the great freedom fighter, leader and statesmen. Another main point in the history of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works is that the production process started exactly in the date 26th January, 1950 the day when our country become Republic.
Chittaranjan Locomotive Works has made a noticeable point by manufacturing state of the art, 3-phase GTO Thyristor controlled Electric Locomotive and the first indigenous 6000 hp freight electric loco WAG-9 and has become the first production unit in the developing countries, second in Asia and fifth in the world to manufacture these category.
The Chittaranjan Locomotive Works has got its own training institute called Technical Training Centre, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works at Chittaranjan. This has enabled to train and coach the staffs of the unit to become experts and thereby to contribute towards the growth of the unit. C.P. Tayal is the General Manager and R. Maurya is the DeputyGeneral Managerand CPRO of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works.
The main departments functioning under Chittaranjan Locomotive Works are Electrical, Medical, Mechanical, PERSONNEL, Stores, Finance, Public Relations, Vigilance, Civil, SCHOOLS, Security, and Rajbhasa Dept. Each department has got its own head who reports to the General Manager. CLW is keen in recruiting quality personnel which they do through various recruitment programs throughout the year.
